What’s in a house
Everything your house holds is one of six kinds of thing.
- Meyou
- Peoplethe people in your life
- Placeswhere you go, online too
- Thingsstuff you own or want
- Logsthings that happened
- Plansthings you mean to do
They line up with the parts of a sentence. People, places, and things are the nouns. Logs are the past tense, plans are the future, and you’re the present. So your house can hold most of what you’d say out loud about your day.
Widgets and rooms
A widget is a small tool for working with your data. keeps a catalog of everything in your fridge. A recipe widget walks you through the steps while you cook.
Widgets live in rooms. Put in the Kitchen, or keep it right on your home screen. A closet package brings a whole Dressing room with it, where you can get outfit ideas and log what you wore. It’ll help you pack for a trip, too.
You can change the walls and the furniture, and build new rooms when you run out. If the widget you want doesn’t exist, you can make it.
Your street
Your house looks like a dollhouse with the front swung open, so you can see every room at once.
Your friends live on your street. Walk over and look around their rooms. Leave a gift by the door if you like. They can do the same at yours.
Your pet
A pet lives in your house and knows where everything is.
Ask it to tidy a room or add something you forgot. Tell it about a widget you wish you had, and it can make it for you.
Your data is yours
Your house belongs to you. Everything in it is yours to keep and work with, and no company sits in the middle holding it.
The house only stores facts, like what happened and what you planned. When it tells you something like “you’ve been low on energy this week,” it works that out from your logs right then, and it can show you which ones.
The whole point is software that helps you take care of yourself and grow.
